Honestly, that is one ugly dog. LOL! Awww, sad but true. I totally fail to see the cuteness factor of any ambully except the most moderate ones. And considering the likelihood of a lifetime of pain for these poor creatures, I'm not entranced by people cooing over them, either. The couple I've met in real life have been very very sweet natured.

Ugh. That dog's front end looks shorter than his back end. I, too, fail to see the cuteness in AmBullies. I also hate how saying "That dog is not a Pit Bull" always leads someone to say, "So because he isn't a pure bred Pit Bull he doesn't deserve rescue?" No, that's not what I said at all. It just means he shouldn't be called a Pit Bull any more than he should be called a Border Collie or a Golden Retriever!!

P.S. I love it when you poke the bear, Emily! ;D . They're so damn predictable! Lol We just got the "you must be a breeder" accusation

I still feel bad for it. Some half wit bred for that, and the dog has to suffer. And if he was from a bust, even more so...
How the heck could a dog like that fight anyway? Do they just have a rousing discussion while in the ring? Can't imagine him being able to move very much.

AmBullies are specifically being bred to be dog-friendly. Maaaaaaaybe one on the yard of a dog fighter, but not a fighting dog.

He reminds me of my old foster Benjamin Lord Clunkhead. He and Sir Henry D'Astreaux were two oldsters we fostered who were eventually adopted despite advanced age. Two sweet old gents who many would have given up on.

I think he's cute. Sure, a mix. There are tons of "bully style" Pit Bulls/Mixes in Cali, they are overflowing with them.
