Whenever I go for a bath, I take one of the boys in the bathroom with me. Usually it's Cappy if his crew is out, or Snorts if it's his. These two LOVE to get into trouble while I'm incapacitated, so this way I can keep an eye on them.

Yesterday I had Snorts in the bathroom with me and as I lie there soaking, I notice a shadow of what looks like feet under the bathroom door. Someone must have broken in while the water was running, and now I'm screwed. I decide to not panic. Since Snorts was there with me, I figured I'd try to scare off the burglar.

I was saying things like, "Snorts, you're such a pretty Pit Bull. My you've gotten so big! But, you know, Snorts, you just have to stop attacking people. They expect the mailman to recover, but his hand couldn't be saved. You've just got to control that rage, buddy."

No movement of the shadow.

Now I'm really starting to panic. I pretended to carry on with my bath as normal. When I was done, I quietly searched through the cabinets for a weapon. My choices were tampons, toothpaste, and Scrubbing Bubbles. I chose Scrubbing Bubbles.

I held the can with the nozzle facing out, took a deep breath, and whipped open the door.

It was Phyllis. ;D

Hey, not for nothing but scrubbing bubbles in the eyes could probably hurt (especially if followed up with a crack to the head by the can!).
