I saw Lilly's owners today. (I actually see them often) We both had time to chit chat and they caught me up on her. She has done really well with her training. She can be trusted off leash and her recall is solid, and she doesn't bolt for the door.(except this last week) She has learned a lot of new tricks, but the best of all is patience. You can put a treat on her nose and she will wait for her que to eat it. They have had very few problems with her and love her like mad. But this last week she's been a bit naughty. They don't crate her, but instead put her in the laundry room which has been set up for her. Nothing in there can she destroy. She figured out how to get the door open last week, and they've come home to torn up tissue, and trash etc. Smart dog. She actually isn't home alone very often thanks to their work schedules. He works days, she works evenings. I told them to go buy her a new tough toy, sounds like she might be bored. She bolted for the door and took off for about 20 minutes this week. Freaked her dog mom out pretty bad. I told her to switch up her routine a bit and add some new training. Lilly is in a great home, and I'm pleased. I hear tid bits about her all the time from my friend as well. It's nice.

I'm so glad that things have worked out in her new home. Sounds like it's a great fit!
