on a post on Sarge's FB page. Kim called out Shorty Rossi for saying that Pit Bulls are more powerful than other breeds and cause more damage when they do attack. Then she said, "In 2012, how about more learning and less talking". I concur  |

scratching head: is there something wrong with pointing out that "pit bulls" (whatever they might be) are typically strong dogs, and that a strong dog that attacks is likely to cause more damage than a small dog? To say that doesn't mean we are ALSO saying that all pit bulls are likely to attack and if they attack, cause more damage. Or that small dogs can't cause a lot of damage...

plus Kim is just on the warpath on all the pit bull FB pages, bashing everyone into acquiescence with the new "law". She might as well be waving Mao's red book around and sending people to re-education camp. I wouldn't like anything she said, even if it were the time of day. She's like some freaking enforcer

Here's my thinking......
A public figure like Shorty who is reaching a ton of people and already kinda well uneducated about the breed and presenting them in an iffy light at times, shouldn't be saying things like, "Pit Bulls are stronger than other dogs and will do more damage when they attack". It just does not do anything good for the breed. A legislator will latch onto that like a leech.
This is just really irresponsible language.
