He gets hot therapy, too.

Yes, he can get on his cot and on the couch. Although I gotta be really careful. He loves sleeping on the couch at night and I tuck him in to make sure he doesn't fall off (barracades, pillows, etc). This morning he fell off again and couldn't get himself up (he was kinda stuck on his haunches, propped against the couch, on the floor). Luckily I had just woken up and heard the thump so went in and checked on him.

^Oh, that's hard. I've had the legs give out on four of my dogs. Thelma made it to 18 before she couldn't stand. Louise made it to 17. Beth, who had health issues the last half of her life and was one of the most oddly put together dogs I've known, only made it to 12.5. Sarah Leah was of unknown age, but was very old when we first found her.
