Kris and I are looking to buy an acreage. Its SO hard!!! Its like if one house is decent, it comes with NO land and NO outbuildings. And if the outbuildings are decent, the house is iffy and HUGE and would kill us in heating costs. :/
What we HAVE to have---@ least 3 bedrooms, cupboard space in the kitchen, and the BIG things (Roof, furnace, well) Can NOT be on their last leg and a house thats at least decently insulated so heating and cooling doesnt put us bottom up. Outside---Id prefer an already fenced in area (For horses), and some kind of building for them and other animals, A building big enough to keep mowers, vehicles, and a tractor in. And itd be nice to have a decent building with a pavement floor to fix up to start dog grooming (Or if the building for the machinery etc is big enough we could make a section for my stuff).
Heres the house were looking at now.

Opinions everyone. We HAVE to have @ least a 3 bedroom house....I love that it has 2 toilets.
I wish it had central air. The inside is beautiful! The outbuildings are very nice. We are going to get horses and some other critters eventually so the stalls, fencing, and barn are really nice. The 3 stall garage could easily Have a section of it 'fixed up' to do dog grooming.
Eventually down the line, I want to run a dog grooming/ dog boarding facility and there is plenty of room for that. My concerns---Im not sure yet how old to roof, and the furnace is. And Im not sure how well the house is insulated. Going to look into these things.
Opinions would be SO much appreciated!!!!
