I haven't attached the pix, but they are GRAPHIC.
Fwd:
Seriously, heed the "graphic" warning this time. It takes a lot to really disturb me, but this one did. Severe facial injuries, but the little girl is still wiggling and wagging. Unbelievable.
Anyone who can help come up with a plan, let me know, and also contact the original poster directly: rpdaco@.com

This email was sent to me last night...what else could I do but cry. She does not deserve what she has been put through, obviously, but our group is small and currently has 8 special needs cases and 3 new groups of breeder turns. We are an all animal rescue and are overwhelmed right now and do not have the funds or room, to take this girl. Can anyone help her? If not, could you forward to other contacts that may be able to assist?
We would be willing to donate monthly heartworm prevention, things like that, if it would help at all.
Thank you

Subject: 911 help for pitbull-warning pics are graphic
While at work, I received a call to pick up this pitbull in southeast Raleigh. She was injured and was found by a kind citizen and held for Animal Control. When I saw her and loving the breed, I couldn't help but cry. I am just glad no one saw me. I took her to the shelter and they are going to hold her for the regular 5 days, and give her medication. She will not be adoptable for them due to the extent of her injuries. I am not only asking, but begging, pleading, groveling and whatever else that will work. Can someone give her a miracle? She is very friendly with people. I stopped by Burger King and got her some warm double cheeseburgers and handfed her. I do not know how she is with other dogs as yet. I can only pull her for a 501c3 rescue group. She appears to have had several litters of puppies and is probably around 3 yrs old (just a guesstimate, due to her injuries - it is hard to look at her teeth. She is a petite 36 lbs.
Please contact me if you can take her in.
