Anyone watch? I forget if we've discussed this here before. Season 5 just started. This is one of my favorite shows of all time.

Ooo awesome! I want to rewatch the first 3 seasons. Seasons 1 - 3 are the best.

HAHA- absolutely watch this - one of the best things to come along in awhile. AMC has been doing a pretty good job lately with their shows (as have some other cable channels), I also like The Killing, and The Walking Dead.

Brook and I have been obsessed with Breaking Bad since it started. I get so stressed out when I watch it, the tension is just too much for me! But I love it!
And I love Mad Men and Walking Dead too.

My favorite of all time has to be Dead Like Me - only ran two seasons on either HBO or Showtime - can't remember. I though it was brilliant but I guess not everyone else did. Dexter is also good. I am not sure why i haven't gotten hooked by Mad Men yet - it's really good ??? There was one other show that i was so into that didn't last long either called Profit. I really don't get into much TV but when I like a series i can get a little obsessed.

But the thing that makes it hard for me to watch is the tension. Like, "OMG what is going to happen next" kind of tension.

Violent I can handle to a point. I also never heard of it. I thought it was a band or something oh yeah that is like Breaking Benjamin I was thinking of when I first saw the thread.

Yeah, the tension is what has kept me up till 2 and 3 every night this week watching it! I started watching 4 days ago and I'm already a quarter of the way through season 3!!

I found the first two seasons to almost be like dark comedy at times, although after that it definitely moved towards darker territory. But it's such a great show. Terminally ill, nerdy highschool chemistry teacher teams up with white trash low-grade drug dealer kid to build crazy meth empire.
In my top three fave shows of all time, fer shure.

I just watched the Season 4 Finale (the last ep available on Netflix) and OMG it was absolutely EPIC!!! I literally said "Oh my GOD" out loud at the end. I was stunned.

Yep Walt is not to be trifled with. So, what did you all think about the other nights episode? That look he gave the little kid sitting on the couch? They have alluded to the fact they are going to take Walt to a pretty dark place before it's all said and done (not that they haven't already). I think maybe we have all still liked him and rooted for him up till now - may change?

I think maybe we have all still liked him and rooted for him up till now - may change? I may be in the minority but I've always found Walt to be extremely self serving and ruthless. Jesse set up to be the wreckless, no-cares kid is actually the one with the conscience and real empathy. Walt is bordering on narcissistic at this point. Jesse's always been my favorite. I actually am very ready for Walt's downfall. And yes, Walt sitting on the couch with Brock was a tense moment. I love how this show sets scenes up where little or no dialog is needed, yet so much is said. LOVE THIS SHOW!!!
