What do you guys all do/use to keep your house smelling good despite the fact we share our homes with dogs whose feet smell like nachos and farts consistantly smell like there is poo somewhere hidden. Oh and lets not mention the cat...Whose sh*t smells like barf. lol Seriously tho?! Ive heard these candles are pretty good. Any experience with these?? www.odoreliminatorcandle.com/servlet/Detail?no=59I always use Glades Pet Odor Removing Carpet Powder before I vacuum. What else works?!

I have scentsy warmers, but some of the scents don't last very long... and now you can find Better Home & Garden brand wax blocks at wal mart... cheaper and sometimes better. But that just covers the smells. Years ago I had 2 cats, and my landlords cat hung out at my place. I picked up some of this: www.amazon.com/Gonzo-Odor-Eliminator-Crystals-Bags/dp/B001F0RFFM/ref=sr_1_2?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1347940597&sr=1-2&keywords=gonzo+odor+eliminatorNot this brand, but similar. I kept one near the litter box and it helped cut down on that lovely odor. I've been thinking about getting some more for my spare room and closets. The room is shut up all the time and smells stale. Hoping this will help. I also use baking soda on the carpet. Not sure how much it helps. lol

I bought one of those candles at a vet office before. I did like it very much! Nothing is going to eliminate the odors, but hey, covering it up works for me! You know what's crazy cheap? Homemade cinnamon vanilla water. Get a candle warmer. Get a mason jar or an old candle jar, or heck, a glass from your kitchen. Add some water to it, a few drops of vanilla, and a few cinnamon sticks. Put it on the warmer. It smells just like a cinnamon candle for next to nothing! Plus, it's flameless

Right now I can't remember the name, but I'll post it later. It actually works, doesn't seem to just cover up, definitely seems to chase the stink away.

I am a self proclaimed queen of candles.....Slatkin candles and oil burner are by the far the best I have ever used.
Bath and Body works carries Slatkin candles....half price at the moment.

I like the Febreeze candle (meadows and rain scent because it smells 'clean and fresh' not flowery). It works really really well to make my apartment smell cleaner than it actually is.
