Yesterday someone stopped me in Lowes to tell me about how he used to rescue pit bull of the bigger variety than Saxon. He never had a white one, though, those are rare. He mostly dealt with Brindles and "Red Tips."
Then, on our walk this morning someone stopped me to tell me how the "blue" around Saxon's spots and the "blue" belly spots make him a very rare "triple colored."
Oi vei!

Since Saxon's ear tips are red I think I'll start calling him a Rare "Triple Coloured Red Tipped Staffordshire Bull Terrier Variety Pit Bull."

HAHAHAHA People say some funny things. I guess Rocky can be in that group with Saxon. As he is tripple colored too!!! He has a patch on his back its half black half brown. If you look real close in the sunlight you catch a slight glimpse of brindle. His tail is dipped in white as are the tip of his ears. I mostly hear he must be an Am Staff with that coloring. And why do people think the White ones are not common. In fact when I adopted Rocky from the shelter one worker said, that pup we have is a full bred pit bull. Street purchase. Another said No he has got to be a mix becuase I have never seen one white with spots like that. Of course at the time I found them to know what they were talking about because I knew absolutely nothing. So now when people say things sometimes it leaves me speechless.
