Ya know, I've seen that in person (not L.A.) and it makes me sick. It's really hard sometimes to stay within my limits on the number of animals I can reasonably take care of and it breaks my heart to say no for no reason other than I simply can't afford (time wise or financially) to take on one more.

I honestly don't know if I am going to be able to see this, just the trailer alone made me cry.

I did the same thing....balled my eyes out.
One of my volunteers that lives down there (recently pulled a dog for us from there) said that's where she goes everyday.
She lives in the really nice part BUT it's never far from these areas.
Man, I wish I could do more for the dogs.

Those poor little puppies.. :-[
it's all about being tough, not caring about anything cept $$$$......i live about 15 miles from that dump, and there's always ads on craigslist for rescued pups from so central..It's sad that only so many can get resuced..seein that makes me wish I was a millionair...I'd resuce all of them..

It is very sad; I was born near Los Angles but my parents moved out of the area when I was four. Then I joined the military and haven't been to California for several years.
