I've hit the spare bedroom for a major clean out. Why do we accumulate so much crap? I'm half tempted to get one of my ex's boys over here with their truck and do a major dump run. But I don't have enough ambition to tackle the other rooms in the house right now. lol
I plan on putting the boys' crates in that room. Will be nice to have them out of my living room. They tend to be magnets for piles of crap.
I probably should have taken yesterday off from work. I had a pretty hard time being patient and "happy". I just faked a smile and got through the day. That left me freakin' exhausted.

I have no idea how that crap piles up. I like to think we live pretty simply, but when we did our spring cleaning this year I was amazed at the amount of stuff we threw out/donated. Felt so good to get rid of so much.

Found a home for Wrinkles crate. My ex's son adopted a Rott from the shelter last week, so he's going to pick it up after work. If he didn't take it I was going to donate it to the shelter.

Turns out, that's a good place for the crate! She escaped out an open screened window one day. A couple days later she broke the glass on a closed window a few days later. I guess the dog belonged to a guy who died from cancer, his mom was taking care of her but I guess it became too much for her. Shawn has put her out in the yard this week and she hasn't escaped, but he's been worried she would. I told him how to acclimate her to a crate, but not to lock her up just yet. I gave him pointers on how to make her feel more comfortable with him, her new home etc.
