The lady that filled out adoption papers on Griffin took him home yesterday for a home visit. Where he turned into a different dog. He explored the back yard for a bit, then went inside with her and took a nap. She later sent a photo to Darcy with Griffin sitting in the lazy boy chair with her. He is being picked up this evening for a trial.
While I'm glad, and hopeful... I'm really hopeful nothing goes wrong. He is the only pet, and there are no small kids. She does have older kids who don't live at home, and she's single. So the home sounds like it might be pretty calm.

It sounds like possibly. This will work. Some dogs can't handle shelters...... Hopefully griffin just needed to be out of the shelter.. Fingers and paws crossed he does a complete good turnaround

I haven't talked to anyone at the shelter since early last week. As of then he was doing fine. I'll be at the shelter this weekend for summer fest stuff so hopefully I'll see someone and can find out more.
