I've known about this dog for a few weeks, trying to help this rescue out: ============================== Dear Real Pit Bull, I am an officer of Brendan’s Meadow’s Rescue, a 501(c)3 organization based in Westfield, New Jersey. We have an immediate need for help to find a foster/forever home/no-kill shelter for a pit bull named Clark. Clark found us. He literally jumped into our President’s SUV when she was loading stuff into the car. He picked the right person. We have searched and searched for his family to no avail. We’ve contacted the police in multiple surrounding towns, posted flyers, posted him on various web sites, newspapers, and reached out to Pit rescue and other rescue groups for help. It’s been about 2 ½ weeks now. He had no collar, tags, or chip. We are currently boarding him at a facility but cannot afford to do so much longer. We are an entirely foster home based organization and all of our foster homes have resident dogs. Clark does not get along with other dogs so it makes it impossible for us to keep him. He has a happy, friendly disposition and has been good with meeting strangers. We take turns visiting him at the boarding facility every day. He thinks he is a lap dog. We are near tears worrying about what will happen to this wonderful dog. Would your organization be able to help us find someone to help Clark? We are running out of money and we would do anything to get him to a safe harbor.
