It started with Lebowski last week. He started sneezing a lot on Wednesday night and it didn't go away so he went to the vet on Saturday morning. He was already on Baytril after teeth cleaning the prior week. Vet said his trachea was sensitive but lungs were clear, no discharge, no other symptoms. She put him on doxycycline and temaril. Yesterday Brandy and Dharma started sneezing too. Brandy is the worst with some minor wheezing and coughing. Vet put them meds too. I've attacked the house with bleach, disinfected bedding, crates, bowls. Steam cleaned floors, even washed the walls in the room where we keep their crates lol. Vet didn't actually give us a diagnosis. Only symptoms are sneezing and some coughing/wheezing. I really doubt it's allergies, because Dharma is already on Benadryl and so far Otis doesn't have symptoms and he's allergic to everything. Just wondering if we should ask vet to do any tests?
In other health news, we had three new lumps on Dharma checked last week and they were clear of mast cells. Yay!

Glad to hear Dharma didn't have any mast cells... Odd about the other dogs though.
Not sure if you live in a house or apartment, but maybe it's something someone else is doing in another home causing the irritation? Hopefully they get over what ever it is soon!

Sounds like something environmental that may be causing them irritation like Mel said? I would most likely to some tests if it keeps up, though. That's just me, I get paranoid about contagions. Not sure what it could be, though... ???

Well the good news is that everyone seems to be improving. Unfortunately Lebowski's boy part troubles are back. Don't remember if I posted about this, but he had a staff infection in his penis last month. He was sedated to have a full cleaning and then we had to douche him and give him antibiotics for a couple weeks. Vet checked him again on Saturday when she saw him for the sneezing, and she said he looked great. Well last night he was having difficulty urinating. He was spurting randomly in the house - and he NEVER pees in the house - and was obviously in pain. The tip of his penis is swollen and very irritated. So I left him at the vet this morning. She wants to do some x-rays and other tests. Oy, as soon as we get one thing cleared up it's something else!
