Hi everyone. Mr. Enzo is having some issues with his nails. He's had a hard to get rid of yeast infection in his nailbeds and his nails are sloughing(very briddle, fraying and breaking off from the quick).
SLO is an autoimmune diseases. Although they can't say 100% that he has it, b/c to do so would require we chop off one of his toes, she is pretty sure.
We have him on quality OMegas & Vitamin E and now seeing a dermatologist @ Upenn.
Although there isn't high correlation with protein allergy, we're going to give him a run of an rx dog food ti see if it improves.
Anyone have experience with this? Looking for input/feedback.

Sorry not familiar with SLO. However, have you tried coconut oil? Also , II have read of others using calendula oil and or apple cider vinegar soaks.
Pretty sure CA's Rocky had a problem with his nails splitting (not necessarily from yeast) but maybe she has some suggesstions.
