I'm thinking about taking Cleveland to the vet. He has been clingy, and just not really himself. It is subtle though, but it's enough to make me concerned. However I don't know what to tell the vet, and what I should ask that she look/test for. I'll probably take him to the vet in Norfolk though, because my usual vet likely wouldn't think anything is wrong.

I would just be honest and tell the vet he is not himself and maybe start with a CBC and get a once over by the vet. After the blood test you can at least rule out some things and see if it is behavioral and not physical.

What Michele said. Seeming "off" can be the first warning signs of lots of things, and I don't think it's being overly concerned at all to have him checked out. Hope he's ok though.

Thanks guys. The last couple days he's gotten a bit worse. He doesn't want to go outside first thing in the morning like he used to, or when I get home form being at work/away. I have to really coax him.
