Is that the same thing as a Czechoslovakian Wolf Dog? I met a man with two of them here in Portland a couple of years ago. They were gorgeous, but very weary of strangers.

Love them, have been admiring them for a while. Any wolf-type dog I'm into, truth be told.

If I were to get a Wolfy dog it would be either a Tamaskan Dog or a Alaskan Noble Companion Dog because they were both created without adding wolf in and they both have friendlier temperaments than wolf-hybrids tend to have. I don't ever want a dog that I have to worry about around people.

Only way I'd end up with a wolf hybrid would be through rescue efforts (I've often thought if I ever get my land and dog sanctuary, I'll expand rescue work to include Neos and wolf hybrids....sigh if....when....). I agree, the Alaskan Noble Companion Dogs are so cool, and I like the sound of their temperaments.

The guy that owned the Akita that was the father to my Lucy, after the Akita passed away, he started breeding these Akita/Wolf hybrids that he got from his son. It always seemed like a bad combo to me
