Matilda is eating Blue Buffalo Sensitive Solutions Turkey and potato puppy after trying a few foods for her sensitive tummy. This is the only one I have tried so far that gives her good, firm stools. George is eating wellness core reduced fat and the cats are all on taste of the wild. I have to drive around to get all 3 foods
Matilda came from a bad situation. The guys that dropped her off at the rescue the day before I adopted her told 2 volunteers different stories. They told 1 they took her from a guy that was going to fight her and breed more fighting dogs then found out they had a pit bull clause in their lease. Another volunteer heard she was the runt and was going to be a bait dog and these guys stole her and thought she was going to be massive like the other pit bulls down here and THEY were going to breed her to make money then they found out she's a mix and gave her to the rescue.
She was 8 weeks and under weight when I got her. She's 45 lbs now and is a healthy weight and has just now started eating her food at a normal pace like someone is not going to take it away from her.
My question is that she is eating the blue buffalo in the morning and again at 5pm. 2 hours later, she is rooting around the bedroom and acting like she hasn't eaten in 2 weeks. She is about to be 9 months and I am not sure if I should add another feeding or if the blue is not dense enough and I need to switch foods again or supplement more in her diet. She also gets things like cottage cheese, yogurt, and boiled eggs.
George is on a diet and needs to lose 2 more pounds before he gets down to the weight his vet wants him at. He quit acting like I was starving him all the time when I put him on the core and the weight is slowly coming off
