George spend the majority of his time burrowed under my blanket. He gets stepped on a lot, either by Matilda or the cats because all they see is a lump, which results in death squealing.
I have NO idea what happened last night, but he was sleeping next to me and did his death squeal and apparently tried to snap at whatever stepped on him and wound up biting me on the thigh.
So my happy ass had to jump out of bed at 1am to see if I needed stitches and try to locate neosporin, which I never did. He's only 20 lbs so it was just a puncture and a big bruise and I'm current on my tetnus shot
Matilda was sleeping right next to me, so she didn't step on him. I have no idea if a cat was trying to sneak into bed.
He's gotten stepped on next to me before when I was in bed reading and he's never snapped before. I have no idea what happened and if he needs to start sleeping in his crate

Lebowski did this to me once, a couple years ago. He was under the covers, I have no idea what spooked him but I probably kneed him or kicked him in my sleep and he startled and snapped at my thigh. He nipped me a little but didn't break the skin. He and I were both freaked out, like "WTF just happened?" He is a very deep sleeper for a dog. I didn't let him sleep in bed for a while after that, but it's never happened again. I think it was just getting spooked in his sleep.

Every now and then Cleveland will wake up startled like that too. Scares the crap out of me sometimes. He's a deep sleeper too... sometimes I think he's just had a bad dream.
