Its continuous, and hurts. My dr told me to try those meto pot things to rinse my sinuses, nose sprays like mucinex, sudefed, and other nose sprays aren't working i just cant get clear sinuses, I've also used every sinus pill out there and no luck.
Has anyone used thine ti pot or those other type things? Do they realky work? Im desperate now, i went out and bought Simply Saline by arm n hammer allergy and sinus relief and wanted to know if anyone used this stuff. One girl at work swears by the neti pot stuff
Anyone?

Sorry ME. I know it sucks. I had severe sinus problems which ultimately led me to have sinus surgery when I had my septum, tonsils at adneoids out at the age of 28. I would strongly urge you to see an ENT doc if you haven't already. My ENT doc is not a fan of all the sprays and mucinex as he said they dry things out and can often make them worse. The simply saline is good. I have heard mixed reviews about the neti but have never used it myself so can't offer any opinions on it.

I don't have an ENT dr up here, so I have to find one now. its like it gets better then comes back a few days later. my regular dr said the same thing that if I cant get rid of the sinus infection I have to go see a ENT.. or have a cat scan to see if I have any polups causing the reoccurring infection.

Ugh, I am so sorry ME. I have not found the neti pot to be very helpful, but many people claim to. Hope you can find an ENT doc quickly.

Right there with ya, ME. I hate being sick! It's like my body is telling my mind, "Guess what, you are just not strong enough!" Hate it!
A neti pot works great for congestion. I made one out of a dosing syringe and salt water. I didn't boil the water first, though, which I guess is a big no-no unless you are trying to get brain eating amoebas. Whoops! But it does work to clean out the gunk.
Feel better!

My sister swears by a neti pot, but I've never tried it... Despite having life long sinus issues. When I was a kid I fell in the dark and the bridge of my nose connected with a shelf. Since then I've had so many breathing issues. Over the years I've tried a lot of things, and it seems nothing works the same way twice. I don't use any sprays other than saline water. I use Advil, Tylenol, Zyrtec, sometimes advil sinus, or prescriptions. Every once in awhile I have to go through a round of steroids and antibiotics. When it's really bad, I'll boil some water, grab a towel and give head a steam bath. After having a root canal done last year, some of the issues were actually solved. Evidently the root rested just under my sinuses. The tooth never hurt, I didn't even know anything was wrong with it, but I was experiencing a lot more sinus problems. More headaches, dizziness, I'd feel a bit ill one day then the next just fine. Once the tooth was fixed, a lot of that went away.
A friend of mine opted to have her sinus 'roto rooted' as she called it. It helped her a lot. But hopefully you don't have to go through that.

Endoscopy is an in house procedure. I have had it done quite a few times and it really is not that bad. For that matter the surgery is really no big deal and I am so glad I had it done. Not that any one wants to have surgery and certainly hope you don't but on the scale of surgeries it is pretty easy!
Let us know how scan goes.

Sorry you've been feeling so sick, ME. Hope you feel better soon. I don't really have anything to add to the above. I used to get really bad sinus infections when I was younger but haven't in a while *knock on wood*. Never used the neti pot so I can't say anything about that.
