So come to find out Yogi hates, and I mean HATES the cold. He backs up from the open door when it's time to go out, he doesn't want to go play or for walks. In fact, he goes with us to the bus stop every morning and afternoon and as soon as we turn around to walk back home he acts like an absolute fool trying to get home as quickly as possible, dancing, prancing, bucking, lifting his feet up and hopping, it's quite the show, poor guy.
I have lived in WI and MN most of my life and have never seen a dog act like this; I've seen them lift their paws when they are cold, sure, but not this... Of course, I've owned Rottweilers who seem to come alive in the cold and snow, so there's that.
Anyway, my point is, I'd like to pick up boots and a coat for him and am wondering if anyone has suggestions? There's a ton out there, but so many just seem like they are for show, I want something decent that is going to last and not look like I'm "dressing" my dog up.

Yeah, that's what I've seen on the reviews for muttlucks, but then some people really like them. I'm also seeing most dog boot reviews for all brands say they don't fit right or fall off or just kind of spin around... I guess their feet weren't made for boots!

I did have a problem with them spinning and falling off during the walk. I suppose I wasn't making them tight enough but I did not want to cut off her circulation!
The problem I had with the Muttlucks is the bottoms wore out pretty quickly. I like the idea of having a rubber bottom like some of the other boots out there.
