agression is a behaviorthoughts? I hadn't seen this guy's blog before; he has some interesting ideas (warning: he does use chokes (which he calls "release") collar and ecollars (which he calls "remote" trainers)

This guy is kind of a jerk, just sayin'. I've seen his site before but never read any of it once I realized the sort of trainer he is. I did read the above post. I think he's got some decent insight mixed in with a bunch of rambling/ranting that I don't feel like sorting through right now with this massive headache I have.....

One quick comment....I will say that we all know these dogs can and do get along with other dogs. But I find it concerning that he is essentially saying he can "train out" aggression in his dogs and not have to worry about it anymore. Aggression cannot be UNlearned. Behavior isn't magically forgotten. New behavior is taught to replace the old, but issues can still arise and I find it irresponsible to insinuate otherwise.
Also that Chad Mackin guy....never heard of him, but did a quick Google search and it looks like he's some kind of Millan-y type trainer. And that quote that is supposedly his - aggression is a behavior, not a trait - that's not something he invented, that or variations of it will be repeated in training/behavior circles. In fact I know I have heard that exact quote before NOT from Chad Mackin, but I cannot remember where I initially heard it. IN fact, I know I've said it myself before!

A while back I saw a video of Chad Mackin "socializing" adult dogs, and someone was holding a whip in a room full of dogs who were running in circles.... just sayin'.
