A couple of weeks ago Winston started shaking hard like he was having a seizure. He wasn't but thats what it resembled. It was out of the blue and it was obvious he was in pain. I brought him to stay with me at my sisters so I could keep an eye on him and locate a vet. To date his limp has not gone away but he will forget about it in favor of fun. Like chasing a cat or playing with another dog. So he is pretty restricted so as not to cause him more pain. Some days are worse than others. But at least there arent any stairs! I have lost count of the lumps and bumps he now has. I think we're up to 10. This is a huge concern but the old ones havent changed. Ive found a vet that Ill be taking him to hopefully next week.. depending on my work schedule.
Over all he seems to be in a better mood. He isnt as "cranky" and a lot more eager to please. He is rarely alone and he really likes my nephew. Ive been able to put a bit of weight back on him so now his hip bones dont jut out. It has helped me having him with me in more ways than one!

Oh poor Winston. Very odd! Wonder what is going on. Please post an update when you talk to the vet.

I'm sorry, I guess I should clarify... After his shaking episode and a rough nights sleep, I realized it was his right shoulder causing the pain. Over the last year or so, when he would play hard, he would get a but of a limp for a day and then it would be gone. The night this shaking happened, he hadn't been outside, so I think he may have jumped off the sofa wrong since he went from being fine, to shaking like a leaf.
I don't know if maybe his #damndog fight with Cleveland exasperated it or not. But I doubt it helped.
