I was planning on scheduling this week, taking him with me in the morning, going to the vet and boarding him there until I got off work. But I can't bring myself to leave him in a strange place with people I don't know. I'm scared he'd get loose or who knows what. So I am going to set up a Sat appointment. His allergies kicked into gear last week so I started him on benadryl, I also noticed his ear was red and stinky so he's on cephloxin. His skin is improving, but in this photo you can see where he's been digging...and the lump we're getting second opinion on. Sent from my SGP561 using proboards Attachments:

I tried explaining this to my sister. She thinks I'm over reacting and a bit absurd. I can't explain it, but I just don't feel good about leaving him anywhere. If it were my usual vet, no problem! so I'll go with my gut, and make an appt. in which we can be in and out of together

Always trust your gut, always. I feel the same way, that if I don't trust my gut and something bad happens I will live with that the rest of my life.
Please keep us posted on what they say about the lump. Poor itchy boy (Chubby's is a big-time scratcher) so I understand how difficult and sad it can be.
