Ok I've found a vet and clinic that I feel good about taking Winston to. He has an appt. Next Thurs. 3/26. It's down the street from my work place, and I didn't notice it until this week. I will be taking him in at 9am and I'll visit with the vet tech. At 1pm the vet will examine him and I'll pick up at 6:30. I'm writing up his medical history, and what is going on right now. Trying to locate all the bumps etc. I swear new ones pop up all the time now. He's gained a couple of pounds since I brought him with me to my sister's. (Thanks to my nephews efforts to thwart his mother's attempts at feeding him.) he does look better. No more hip bones. I'm going to have his thyroid tested as well. The lump on his coin purse is getting worse and I'm rather worried. I feel ok with leaving him for the day with these people, I just hope they have some answers for me. Sorry I am late to this thread.... hoping you get some answers.
I was going to suggest you just take a marker and circle all the lumps you want checked out but I realize by now you have already taken him.
Let us know what they say.

He goes in this Thurs. I ended up getting the day off, so I'll be able to talk to the vet and point out each area. I just need to put my worry rest, hopefully it's a case of arthritis and benign cysts!

Last night I discovered a hematoma on his right ear. Pretty sure that is the result from when he managed to use his block head to get the sliding screen door open the other day. I was at work and my sister was outside... Winston wanted to join her. I may have to break up his treatment into a couple if visits at this rate.
