As Rocky is approaching the age of 4, I am amazed how Rocky went from a puppy to a dog overnight. He is calm, laid back, well behaved with now only occasional zoomies around the yard. He always occasionally hacked after zooming around the yard. Now he always hacks and almost vomits after zooming. He is a dried leaf eater that usually causes hacking. However this seems like dogie asthma or something. Anyone else experience this with their dogs? Anything that can be done to help. He does not drink water often.

My APBT Krash used to have the same problem. There was never a physical indication of why he'd cough after exercise (he was perfectly healthy). Sometimes it was related to stuff he'd pick up and eat along the way. Other times it seemed like it was just related to the exertion. Any concern like this probably would do well to bring it up with the vet, just to be sure.
