Voluntary recall information
Nutro Products, Inc. has issued a voluntary recall on select SKUs of Natural Choice and MAX dry cat foods. These products are being voluntarily recalled because of incorrect levels of zinc and potassium in the finished product.
Although we're not aware of any confirmed illness related to these products, pet parents who've purchased these products should immediately stop feeding the food to their cats and switch to another advanced nutrition food.
Pet Parents should monitor pet cats for symptoms, including a reduction in appetite or refusal of food, weight loss, vomiting or diarrhea. If you're concerned about your pet's health, contact your veterinarian as soon as possible. These recalled products do not pose any health risk to humans and there is no risk in handling or disposing of the products.
What should you do?
We're committed to keeping you informed of any developments regarding the recall.
