Dixie will be 6 this December, and she's started getting skin tags. She has little tiny ones on her "elbows/knees" and a larger one (size of a No 2 pencil lead maybe) on her leg and one that just came up on her belly.
I don't like them (yuck) and don't want them to grow. Any home remedies? Think you can use the Dr. Scholl's Compound W or Freeze Away? Wouldn't that be the same as the vet would do?

I've heard of people tying a bit of thread around the base so that the blood supply is cut off. After a few days the tag usually falls off.
I wouldn't use compound w or freeze away. Some Drs freeze or burn them but cutting them is considered the best treatment.
They're not harmful though...only reason to remove them is if they get irritated.
