...that pups are BORN with blue eyes. GOOD LORD.
And $10,000 to breed a red-rednose with a blue dog? Some days I swear I can't take the stupidity.

Ripper the pitbull was in grief all day yesterday, after discovering that five of her newly-born blue-eyed pups were missing.
The pups, valued at $30,000, were in fact stolen from their kennel at the weekend.
"Whoever stole the puppies knew the mother very well, or else they could never have gone near to her. Not many people dared to go close to her," Melanie Beckles said yesterday.
Beckles, 21, and her boyfriend, Shawn Salvary, 25, of Jessie Lane, Fonrose Street, San Fernando, are owners of the dog.
She said they heard the pup's mother, Ripper, crying around 5 a.m. on Sunday, and when they went outside they realised that five of the pups, from a litter of seven, were missing.
"At first, we thought they had walked out of the kennel. We looked all over and did not find them. That's when we realised that they were stolen."
She said Ripper, a Pharoah breed, was moved from the kennel "where we had her and placed her with her two remaining pups in another kennel nearby".
Beckles said her boyfriend had paid $10,000 to breed Ripper with a blue pitbull. They already had buyers lined up for the pups.
Beckles said: "The thieves stole five male pups and left one male and a female."
The couple had a suspect in mind, but no proof to back up their suspicion.
"We did not have any proof, except that Ripper sniffed her way to a house twice, but the owners of the house denied that they had anything to do with the theft."
It was Ripper's first litter.
"She is grieving for them."
Beckles said they have had Ripper about 15 months. She said they wanted to alert all veterinarians "that not many people have blue-eyed pitbulls".
"Ours are just three weeks old. If anyone turns up with blue-pitbulls please alert us."
Blue-eyed pit bulls were in demand, Beckles said.
"It's a very rare colour in pit bulls."
