I never heard of them. I wish these cat rescues would stick to cats, they seem to be some of the worst offenders when it comes to bad dog placements.

I recently found out that a humane society in my area (That I thought was a really good one) is doing the same thing…They go to Petco every Saturday and if you have money-You have a cat or a dog. This disgusts me.

Local shelters doing the same thing... I can understand same day adoptions for a shelter (not a rescue) if someone comes to your facility looking for a pet, but NEVER same-day off site adoptions. These are impulse purchases just like a petshop sale.
There is also a cat "rescue" close to me who does same day adoptions at a Petco for cats, and has now started handling pit bulls. I don't even consider them reputable in placing cats, let alone pit bulls.
