Thanks! I promise I will take some pictures with my camera when I go...Then you will really be able to see how handsome he is.
Now I need to settle on a name for him?! Ideas???
I was thinking Paco (Like Taco but with a P) because he is such a little guy he kinda looks like a Paco but he also kinda reminds me of a Capone…We also Kinda like Dante...I just don’t know what to name him!!!

I would wait and see what fits with his personality. Although I do think Paco is very cute and suits him!

Well when I wanted to give Rocky a name I did not win. I did not choose Rocky my husband did before we brought him home. I was told I could only have him if I named him ROcky. Now I cant picture him being named anything else.

I think he needs an Egyptian name he has Egyptian eyes. I would wait to see his personality to pick one but search for list and meanings I found this and I like Horus-Sky God. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_pharaohsAnd Set or Typhon means Chaos perfect for some crazy boys. I guess you are getting him?

My mom's red Pittie reminded me of a pharaoh hound so I named him Cairo. One of my fave dog names right there!

Yep...Tuesday or Wednesday. ;D
I really like the idea with Egyptian eyes! I also really like the name Cairo. There are just so many awesome names!
I am going to wait until I get to know him but I have still been brainstorming and I thought of one more name that is really sticking out to me...Houdini-The Escape Artist. I would call him Howie for short. At the vet center he has managed to get out of about every kennel they have-Regular Kennel runs, Roofed Kennel runs, Horse Stall, and a smaller wire kennel.

Was going through the the Egyptian names I vote for Darius the Great! But I like the meaning of Horus. After c.2000 BCE, the pharaoh had five names: four throne names and the name he had received when he was born.
1. the Horus-name (i.e., manifestation of the heavenly falcon) 2. He of the two ladies (i.e., the twofold country Egypt, represented by the cobra-goddess Wadjet and the vulture-goddess Nekhbet) 3. the golden Horus-name (expressing eternity) 4. He of the sedge and bee (e.g., Upper and Lower Egypt) 5. Son of (the sun god) Ra (i.e., personal name).
For example, a pharaoh could be called
1. Horus Mighty Bull, Beloved of Truth 2. He of the two ladies, Risen with the fiery serpent, Great of strength 3. Horus of gold, Perfect of years, He who makes hearts live 4. He of the sedge and bee Aakheperkara 5. Son of Ra Thutmose living forever and eternity

Well...I have some bad news. He snarled at Avery and I no longer think that this would work. He seemed to be fine but yesturday he was sitting next to me (Half in my lap) and Avery began walking in my direction and he started showing his teeth and growling. I dont think I want to bring a dog into my home that is already resource guarding. I am just not set up for that right now and I do not want to bring a dog into my home that I have to protect my daughter from. Maybe I am wrong but I just cant see me bringing a dog into my home that is acting funny with my daughter. What do you guys think?

I agree. If something would happen to Avery, you'd never forgive yourself. Not every dog is suited for every household.

I'm sorry to hear that. You tried your best and it just wasn't meant to be. He'll cross over to the rainbow bridge where he'll never have to live in a kennel again!

I'm sorry it didn't work out with this dog. I am so sorry that this happened it seemed to be working out so well. I guess it just wasn't meant to be. You made the right decision, though. You can't have a dog in your home that may bite your child! He is playing with Boomer over the rainbow bridge.

You don't have an obligation to take on a dog with behavioral problems, especially not with children in the house. There are plenty of bombproof pit bulls around and you will find the right one for your family
