So as you guys already know Tuesday or Wednesday I am bringing home a Pibble! And I have one concern at this point…He is an escape artist. I actually just got off the phone with the vet center staff because when she went to do chores he greeted her at the door because he got out of his roofed kennel, he didn’t touch one thing in the vet center and the kennel was not damaged but he was loose! I plan on crating him and would really like him to stay in his crate when I leave.
I was wondering what type of crate is the strongest (Wire, Plastic) and if there is anything I can do to a regular crate to make it harder to escape from?

I use the vari kennel and I use a big one so the lock is a four pin lock (not sure how to really explain it) but they call it a vaulted door. She has never gotten out of it.
Prior to that I was using the all wire crate and she was able to escape that no problem.
