I realized I never posted an intro. So here it goes.
My name is Jenn I'm 19 years old and I am owned by a 6 month old pittie named Tyler. My mom absolutely wouldn't hear of having a pit in the house especially because my youngest sister was 6 years old at the time and mom was afraid of the pit eating my sister just because it wanted to.
So I talked my mom into letting me foster some dogs until she felt otherwise. I fostered a ill tempered chihuahua, a 100+ lb german shepard rottie mix, as well as a very timid labrador who had no leash manners at all. But still mom wouldn't agree to me having a pit.
So I wrote a report on the breed it included the history, real temperment, excercise requirements, etc etc. I presented my report in a professional manner,I had my hair done I put on a nice outfit (which is rare for me since I'm a jeans and tee shirt kind of girl.
Mom finally agreed to me getting a pit as long as it was a puppy. I wasn't the happiest camper since I wanted to adopt an older pit but I had to take what I could get.
Three months later I came home with tyler on my moms birthday. From then on everyone who gets to know Ty loves her and even my mom comes home and expects to see Tyler waiting for her by the door.
Tyler has changed my familys life for the better. We are more active and social because of her. The love and support that I now have from my family is overwhelming ay times, my sister is actually looking into becomeing a legal godmother? One day she asked me "In case you should accidentally have a fatal accident who's gonna care for my tee tee?"Lol
Anyways.. I seem to be bragging now so I'm gonna stop. Well... that's my intro!
