More:
All,
On Saturday, July 19 the Newark Bears will be playing the Camden Riversharks in Newark and the stadium will be open to your companion dogs who will not be charged admission. (See attached flyer.)
The purpose of this event is to benefit Liberty Humane Society (LHS) and raise awareness about pet adoption. If you donate an item to LHS you get $1 off your admission.
It is "open seating" and there is plenty of standing room in the arena. The arena seats about 3,500, but is "roomy". Has a nice open feel versus one of the NYC stadiums. All dogs must be "sociable" and no flex leads are allowed. There is probably going to be a "dog parade" around the perimeter of the field before the game starts so that everyone in the stands can see the dogs that are in attendance. Also some of LHS's adoptable dogs will be brought onto the field during the 7th inning stretch.
SUPPORT LIBERTY HUMANE SOCIETY! YOUR GENEROSITY ENABLES STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS TO PROVIDE QUALITY SHELTER AND CARE FOR ANIMALS IN NEED! Best Regards,

I essentially work across the street from the Stadium, it has really wide walkways all the way around the field, so I could see this working. The baseball isn't horrible either. Sadly my foster would probably be scared to death of all the people, but I may try to go w/o her regardless.
