This is one of the saddest things I've ever seen. I never get used to this stuff. It's just unbelievable to me that someone could be SO heartless and cruel.
This story made me cry. The pit bull is SO resilient and so many humans that treat them like this DON'T deserve this love they give even after abuse like this.

Yeah, I don't see how anyone could get used to it, every cell in my body reacts negatively to stories/scenes like this. Every time I see that pic I want to cry.
(P.s. I actually emailed the rescue about the dog, just basic comments about the story, and said I believed he was being mis-id'd. Dunno why they went the Dogo route ?? Didn't hear back from them. I assume sometimes people purposefully choose to avoid calling certain dogs 'pit bulls' and to label a dog a more benevolent-sounding breed?)
