This is just all kinds of messed up... illinoishomepage.net/fulltext?nxd_id=232846Man Shoots Neighbor's Pit Bull Reported by: Tinisha Shade Thursday, March 31 2011 A pit-bull debate is raging in one Central Illinois town. It's all because a man shot and killed his neighbor's dog. It happened this weekend in Broadlands. The dog's owner is outraged. His neighbor says he's not sorry and would do it again. Some say the dog was vicious, nearly attacked people and needed to be put down. Others say he was a big baby who wouldn't hurt anyone and didn't deserve to die. Michael Perry’s neighbor Josh Garman says he warned him plenty of times he did plan to shoot the dog if it came into his yard again. He says next week he plans to go before the village board to propose a city wide ban on pit bulls. We also contacted the sheriff's department. Garman will not face any criminal charges for killing the dog. Deputies say he was within his legal rights to shoot the dog since it was on his property.************************

yeah because if you know your neighbor hates your dog and hates when it comes into his yard, you're going to make every effort to ensure your dog stays in your own yard, right? godforbid you might put up a fence, too.

Seriously! If someone threaten my dog with violence you sure as sh*t know I would either move or do everything in my power to protect my dog (fencing/double locks on doors/the works)!
