This is when he was 2 months old (before we had him): This is shortly after we got him, he was 5 months: This is shortly after he was neutered at 6 months: Right after I got back from Finland, Saxon was 9 months: And this one is from the other day, Saxon is 10 months old now:

I have a lot of freckles and when I was little I was scared that they were all going to grow into one giant freckle. Saxon's belly spots look like they might all merge together, LOL! He is SOOOOOOOO freaking adorable!!! I want to smooch every single spot!

I think belly spots are pretty common with Piebald dogs of all breeds, not just Pit Bulls (we're pretty sure Saxon is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, btw). Not to worry!

Love those spots! Dottie has lots of dots too, and of course her one brown dot. Hers are all over, and not just on her belly. She almost looks like a dalmation when she's wet.

I'm glad Winnie got his spots back. Rhett doesn't really have any... Saxons spots must be frist prize winners!
Like sugar said, he seems proud of them!

Keona is a piebald and she has tons of spots also.....all over her body. I constantly get people asking if she has Dalmation in her.

I'm going to say it's a tattoo that was given after he was neutered. Kinda pointless with male dogs since it's very obvious whether they've been neutered or not. lol
When Keona got spayed the sutures had blue dye on them, so now her incision site is blue. They said it's so people can tell she's been spayed.

That's exactly what it is, Brook. I was kind of annoyed that they did it since it's obvious from his lack of junk that he was neutered, but I guess it's their policy.

Just love to see Spotty Saxon. Oh I wish I had thought to take progression of spots photos of Rocky. Oh well if I only knew. Well I have an old one of his paw pad. When I was on a different forum when he was a pup he got this black dot on his paw size of pencil dot. Everyone was telling me to take him to vet and one member said dont worry it is just a spot. It will grow and he might get more. Well it happened all right. But I dont think I have any photos of early belly spots.

I wish using blue dyed sutures was common practice here. When Judy gets a female dog in it's a guessing game. Especially after you fix a really furry pup!
