Hope everyone holds up well with the oncoming storm! Hopefully all the puppies ride it out well too!

Fingers crossed that Chubby doesn't have a nervous breakdown this weekend! He'll be wearing his thundershirt for the whole weekend.

Mine all don't mind a little rain, but pouring rain and tropical force winds... I stocked up on paper towels tonight.

I found some pee pads that have something in them to attract a dog to use them. I thought it was a marketing plow at first. But, having used them, and using other brands, I have to say they work. I had to pick some up for Rhett. He rarely ever poops in the house, but I was still finding random pee spots. Now I keep a pee pad in the hall and the silly mutt uses that instead of random things.
Maybe something like that would work during bad storms for the scared doggies.

I have a shower tomorrow morning, other than that I plan on staying indoors all weekend. My mom may have to come up by me, but so far they aren't evacuating the Toms River area. Everyone is bugging out over this storm. I'm just so used to overreactions/media hype for weather in this area that I'm pretty much blase about the whole thing. My gf in NC had to move 3 hours inland though. They JUST moved down a month ago. Hope their house is ok

My parents were evacuated from shore. They were ordered to be out of there by 8am this morning. One of my coworkers wife and kid were down there, they had to come up. My other coworker was supposed to fly back from Cali on Sunday night - and my landlord back from Italy. They're gonna be stuck in airports somewhere on Sun night......

Also, would it teach him its ok to go inside if I use the pads for a day or two if its too bad to go walk him outside? Don't want all our hard work on housebreaking to go to waste.

Marc's parents are heading to our house around 3pm. The gov't is turning off the power at 3pm today in the wildwoods.. I'm very nervous about the house but Marc told me not to worry that's what insurance is for.. it's still nerve racking Everyone on the east coast be safe. As for Jackie, well lets hope she hits the hardwoods and not the rugs!!!! Dana

Dottie hates getting her feet wet, period. I suit up and go with them if they put the brakes on. Then it's fun for them, not so much for me.
Stay safe East Coast!

I will let u know the brand when I get home this evening. I guess I would used them only when needed, like if he won't go during the storm, put it somewhere near the door and hope he uses that instead of the rug. Or put it over his spot and gradually move it near the door?
