Part of the problem is the side streets around here. Explain a county department that does budget cutbacks with laying off teachers, reducing library funding and not thinking to dedicate certain streets as truck routes or put up speed bumps...even Orange has speed bumps. But they can afford a beautification for the strip of Springfield Avenue from Irvington to Vauxhall that's going to be nail salons/liquor stores/empty storefronts in ten years. Until a human gets killed from the traffic around here will somebody pay attention. The animal bodies through the neighborhood and broken glass from wrecks at the intersections don't even get cleaned up. Wish we could up and move out of Essex County. Alot of people are, the taxes went up and they put bulletproof glass in front of the tax collection counter. Does that tell you which way this happy suburb is going??? Ah wellll Thank you for letting me share
