Hi all.......well, all who are still signing into this forum anyhow. I'm new to the site. Live in NJ with my youngest daughter and my beautiful 8yo pit, Diva. And what a Diva she is. We adopted her in January of this year from a wonderful rescue group in NY, For Our Friends. Although I've had all kinds of dogs since my childhood: Dobermans, Dalmatians, Great Dane, Shepherd mix, Corgi mix, my wonderful Diva is the BEST dog ever. I would never get a dog any other way than through rescue. All of the bad press and ridiculous BSL makes me that much more passionate about the breed. Yeah, there are some things about her that are tough at times.......like, for instance, some dog aggression when on leash or in the car..........I can't imagine myself ever having any other breed of dog than a pit bull. Me walk a she-she foo-foo shitzsu or maltese? Nah, don't think so. I need a dog with a great sense of humor, plenty of character, and a little bit of attitude.......just like me!! I'm looking forward to corresponding with some of the pit lovers on this site. In the meantime, have a look at my sweetie....

Welcome!!! She is beautiful. They are the biggest clowns and I loved the fact that you rescued her. I tell everyone about rescues for any breed. Hope to see more pictures.
