Welcome to the forum! Hannibal is so adorable! Maggie was beautiful... she looks a lot like my girl Nine who passed last year.

Sorry for your loss , losing one is a tough battle...hope you have since been able to have the pleasure of another canine companion...and I hope it is a bully , I looked for over a year before realizing that I wanted another . I was turned down with several apps to adopt so I purchased Hannibal from a friend I graduated high school with that had two apbt and had bred one with a sire from another kennel that only does a litter every few years , and I got lucky considering I wanted a male after having Maggie for so long , not to mention being surrounded by estrogen in the house (Wife , daughter , and cat) it was time for another man in the house to share in the machismo!! The litter only produced two males and five females , the sire wanted only females and my friend actually changed his mind when he saw the pups and got the other male from the litter , both resembled their dad and I hope they grow to be just as magnificent as their papa!! Here are the Mama , and the Papa ... cheers to you and I hope if you have not gotten a dog , then I hope you can soon !!

Sorry for your loss. 16 years is a nice, long life, however! The new imp is looking good!

Sorry for your loss , losing one is a tough battle...hope you have since been able to have the pleasure of another canine companion. Thank you. That's great that you've been able to welcome a new companion into your family. Losing them is so hard. We actually lost three last year. Our two old girls passed within a couple months of one another, one from a heart attack and the other from a degenerative neurological condition. They were our first two rescues. Then in November our 7 year old mix was diagnosed with a brain tumor and did not survive the treatments we tried. It was a very hard year not only in my family, but for a few of our other forum members who lost their beloved dogs as well. This forum is a wonderful source of support. We still have 4 dogs in our little family... 3 APBTs and one pit/french mastiff mix. Despite the pain of losing them, they bring us so much joy while we have them. I wouldn't trade them for anything.
