I’m a newish pit bull mom- Jim a 10 month lab mix and Lucy a four month old pit bull terrier. Both were adopted from our local animal shelter. Jim is a gentle giant and Lucy is a very lovable clown dog. Lucy is definitely a terrier! She can be single minded and snappy. My husband and I joke that we should of named her chomper. When she plays she gets to the point where she will continuously chomp her teeth at the air. She makes a wonderfully loud chomping sound! So far I can see that Lucy is no different than any other dog with breed specific strengths and all the usual “dog” issues, ie the need for an attentive responsible intuitive owner.

I had a hamster named Chompers because of that too, lol. Please post pics when you can, we all get googly-eyed over puppy pics, lol. For whatever its worth though, I would post up the info about her being nippy/mouthy. There are probably tips and tricks you can use to help her get a little better about it before she grows up into a full size dog and it becomes a bigger issue.
