well, i have to say, this class is go go go go... we dont stop from the time we walk in to the end of the hour class.
there are 8 dogs in class. last week was hectic . ruby did pretty good. we had her prong collar on as she was way to interested in the little dogs that were there. i didnt have to give any corrections either. we did a jump, tire, A Frame, straight tunnel ,started the weaves straight, and a table.
this week, i took the prong off and kept her martingale on. we did a jump, tire, 2 curved tunnels, table, A Frame, Walk, collapsable tunnel. she LOVED it all except the collapsable tunnel (which 2 other dogs didnt like either) so we are going to practice at home with a chair and sheet.
once she got it, she ran the course like a champ. i was very surprised.
after 45 minutes of group lessons, the trainers (2) let us run alone in the ring with the other dogs watching. for this we did 2 curved tunnels, table, tire, jump.. ruby loved it, she didnt make any mistakes unlike me LOL... i almost ran into the tire pole and the jump pole.. totally embarrasing for me...
the owner of the school is trying to get the UKC to certify her place and her to hold UKC trials, which i would love since ruby is registered UKC, right now the school is registered for APDT agility and rally. i am not sure what other ones though. here is where we go www.goldenruleschoolfordogsllc.com/facl/
i am definitely going to enroll ruby in the next class once this one is over, a she loves doing the agility and really shines.
for $100 its a 7 week course and well worth it
