Miss Pitunia is a rescued pit bull that was selected to be in a local play in St. Louis. Miss Pitunia will play the role of Bullseye in Oliver!

Miss Pitunia came from the inner city streets back in 2000. She was pulled from the city pound with broken back legs. Tunie went on to have surgeries and now 14 years later walks with a limp. Tunie is a Canine Good Citizen and a retired therapy dog. Tunie came out of retirement when asked by Young's People Theatre to play the role of Bullseye.

Even in her advanced age, Miss Pitunia is still changing people's minds about pit bulls. The children just love her and she won over the skeptics about the breed. I am so proud our little girl. If you are in the St. Charles area of St. Louis, please come see her this weekend at her debut in Oliver!

Miss Pitunia in the cast line receiving flowers from her fans. ;D Miss Pitunia has become the touch stone before the kids go on the stage. Everyone gives her a pat...that is sixty kids giving her a pat on the head and she loves it.

Miss Pitunia plays Bullseye so hence the eye makeup and rope.
