If anyone, especially NJers and Greater Philly folk, knows any responsible people looking to adopt, don't forget to let them know about the Burlington County Animal Shelter! We have dogs and cats galore!
We have a couple of dogs who will likely need experienced adopters or rescuers, including a St Bernard who can be a tad touchy, a Boerboel who was just surrendered this morning and a 3yo female Fila named Alexis who warms up remarkably well to people who she meets, but DOES take her Fila-ish time about it and who will therefore need someone who knows how to keep these dogs who is also willing to come in and work with staff and the dog till Alexis accepts them.
We of course have Pit Bulls and Pit Mixes galore.

And one rabbit type animal! We had a cockatiel type bird in briefly this AM, but he was reclaimed. I figured you'b be intrigued by the Boerboel. I'll try to get a good pic soon!

Will do John.
I went to see a Boerboel breeder in PA with my cousin nine years ago. Interesting fellow he was but the dogs were gorgeous.

I took the Boerboel out. He did generally well, but he got so excited when he saw other dogs walking that he wanted to run and leap and play. When you and a Boerboel who wants to run and leap and play are on the opposite ends of a leash, be glad if you've been working out for the past two and a half years, but rue your aching knees!
