I met this young girl about year ago in Petsmart with her cute little new puppy that she adopted from the shelter. I gave her advice as she was interested in sharing info and knowledge. She has done fostering while she was away at college. She will be having a grand opening of her new Pet Store in Sugar Loaf NY. A cool place to have a store. Im actually jealous as I should have done this. Always dreamed about it. My husband would have funded it. I just never bothered to go ahead and do it. Anyway her store is named after that puppy who is now a beautiful dog, here is link to her new website and facebook page. www.scarletsway.com/www.facebook.com/ScarletsWayaDogsWorld website not in full working order yet but has a cute bio.

She is open to suggestions. I was going to suggest Planet Dog products. Any items you recommend over others.

@ Cat, Sugarloaf is really cool, you would love it. It is a craftsvillage. Some of the Artists live there. It is an awesome place to have a shop. Unfortunately I think rent is a bit expensive there. Even though it is a real laid back place. You feel like you went back in time. check it out www.sugarloafnewyork.com/fun/

Sugarloaf sounds like it would be an awesome place to visit! Thanks for the suggestion, CA! I see that she only wants to sell things made in the US, which is awesome! All of Planet Dog's "Orbee" toys (the rubbery ones) are made in the US (Maine and Massachusetts). Unfortunately though, our stuffed toys and "wood chuck" are made in China. They used to be made in the US, but it was too pricey and people weren't willing to pay that much. My coworker did visit the plant in China to approve of the working conditions and supplies used, so I trust the products a lot more than some others made in China, but she probably won't want to sell the Chinese made toys in her shop.

I forget the company that makes the stuffed toys in US from recycled materials. Rocky has one but there is no tag. This thing is a decent toy if only I could remember. Well on a re search again.

West Paw has some awesome products! Their beds sell really well at PDog. I can't think of any stuffies that we sell that are made in the US, but I'm sure that there must be some!

Yeah, I think they make their stuff in USA. For whatever reason, we only carry their beds at the moment.

West Paw makes its stuff in Bozeman, MT, where I live now. I visited their little "factory".. it's quite interesting.
