A co worker told me about her 1.5 yr old Maltese latest issue. He has decided that the bed belongs to him, and tries to attack his owner when she gets into bed. If she tries to remove him, it makes him worse.
I told her to crate him at night, no more bed time. Then I printed out NILF instructions for her.
Then because she really isn't my favorite person, I had to make a smart a$$ remark about small dogs being babied like the rules don't apply to them.

Not being a smart ass with that remark. Just being truthful.

I hope NILF helps. No way would I ever allow my dog to take over my bed... ... Well, at least I can move him without getting bit!

Lmao Christina... Bola and Capone own our bed. And they try so hard to use their weight when trying to move them, but eventually with a big sigh they move. No biting involved

It's true that allowing dogs in your bed turns them into monsters.

he likes to hang his leg over side like i do such a cutie I'm still convinced the monster under my bed will grab me, I stay 100% on the bed and completely under cover. Asd long as I'm under the blankets, I'm safe. Lol

*lol* I have to have a foot out from under the covers and off the bed.
When I originally brought Cleveland home, I had issues with him growling at me when I'd try to get him off the bed. His trigger was when I'd grab for his collar. I quickly got that situation under control w/ a different word for what I expected, which was 'off' and he went through some serious Nilf. If he is being a butt head I can grab his collar while saying off, and he'll go w/out fuss. I don't pull but I do put a bit of pressure behind the hold when I say off, then I let go. This happens so rarely though.
