Yeah, I'm planning on trying one, I haven't made jack-o-lanterns in years. I'm excited ;D

I've never used a pattern before. Therefore my jack-o-lanterns look like a 7-yr old carved them!
I love decorating for Halloween! It's so much fun! Skulls, ghosts, spiders! Way better than Christmas decorations IMO!

Way better than Christmas decorations IMO! That's funny, Courtney, I love decorating more for Halloween than XMas, too. I have lights, leaves, skulls, pumpkins, etc - so great! ;D

I haven't really decorated for any holiday since we moved into this house. Seems like so much just to do the regular housework. But here is a pumpkin I made the other year:

I only had one cat at the time. Haha. We are up to five again now - two of my own and three fosters. And I've just been asked to take another foster - a 16 year old persian.
That's Roscoe, Aiden, Bonnie, and Amber. It's easy to do with tempera paints, and the pumpkin lasts way longer because it isn't carved. I threw it out months later just because I was sick of it sitting there when it was almost spring.
