This from the article sums it up. Not to ruin it for you but to warn you as I was unaware of what was going on at first and I wondered why they were putting dogs in metal box so I continued to watch and closing my eyes did not help. I literally was hyperventilating from what I had just witnessed. The whole program was not that bad. I mean there was some rewarding parts.
From the article Michelle posted explains the worst part exactly in the words that I dont even want to revisit.
With plenty of warning to viewers, the film shows what happens at an animal shelter’s last stop — a fate met by a couple of million dogs each year in the United States. A half-dozen dogs are set into a large metal box. They seem eerily resigned to this moment; no snapping, no squirming, no escape attempts. The lid is shut and sealed, and a worker twists the gas valve. The screams from inside the box are ghastly.

Not a bad idea. I was waiting to watch it from seeing the trailer. of course the part I pasted was unbeknownst to me. But the triumph for one dog i was rooting for made it worth it in the end.
